afternoon in the orchard

Growing up in South Carolina picking apples in the fall should be like a rite of passage, so its just crazy that this is the first year I’ve ever done it! And, I had to come all the way from California. On my October visit home,we picked some of the last apples of the season at Bryson’s Apple Orchard located in the Long Creek area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. So much fun, especially for the kids. I mean, you can’t beat an afternoon kicking, throwing, and stomping on, er, picking apples!
