a journey through morocco | essaouira

I believe this is part four in the series of photos from our amazing trip to Morocco earlier this year. Essaouira is just down the coast from Casablanca and like each place we visited in Morocco, has such a unique vibe. The harbor is bustling with fisherman all day, the markets are over crowded with shoppers, and the tourist come to breathe the sea air and spend time on the beach. Even with all the activity, though, it does have a sereneness about it. Maybe it’s that sea air! It certainly is a beautiful place to explore; so full of color, texture, and life, and with quaint riads and amazing food too!
