Barbara and her family are so special to me. Since I live 2,000 miles away from my own family, they are my home away from home, my California family. I have always admired the close relationship Barbara shares with her children and especially the bond she has with her granddaughter, so it was such a treat to photograph the three generations of lovely ladies in her family! We found a beautiful little park tucked into a neighborhood of Dana Point, California, that was perfect. It was almost like we had our own little secret garden with roses and wisteria in bloom!
