Portraits at White Rock Lake | Dallas

White Rock Lake really is a beautiful urban oasis in the middle of Dallas, especially in the summer! And, it’s absolutely a gorgeous place for outdoor portraits in Dallas. I love to find new locations around the lake that offer a variety of scenes giving diversity to our portrait sessions. There are so many of these wonderful little spots around every turn! For this shoot, we stopped at a local park, old railroad trestles, and the sailing club.

This particular day it was too windy on the lake for sailing, but that didn’t stop us from finding some picturesque spots at the Corinthian Sailing Club. Believe me, it was a crazy windy day, even though Kate makes wind blown look so beautiful! It was still so fun to be out on the lake photographing Kate. She is such a delight!
